Wisdom teeth (third molars) typically erupt between ages 17 and 25. Frequently, they do not have enough space on the arch and remain fully or partially impacted in the bone, causing pain, infections, or pressure on neighboring teeth.

Do all wisdom teeth need to be extracted?
