Castelul Bran (legendarul „Castel al lui Dracula”Bran Castle (the legendary “Dracula’s Castle”), the Sighișoara citadel (birthplace of Vlad the Impaler), and Brașov with its Council Square and Black Church — all just 2-3 hours from Bucharest. Romania has some of the most impressive salt mines in Europe — Turda Salt Mine and Praid Salt Mine, transformed into underground spas with recognized therapeutic properties.
